Peyton Manningpeyton3This guy just simply will not leave this one on the table (Lombardi Trophy). He deserves it. Never thought he would make it back, and to excel at a level even better then before is just astonishing. He will teach Mr. Sherman and the “LoB” what it takes to win a Super Bowl. An amazing year. One of the all-time greats. If not THE best. I know someone who would say Johnny U., but even he knows this is something special to watch. A total and complete class act since day one. How could anyone root against this guy?

It’s rare to see in sports someone who is not only the best at what they do, and also to fit the definition of role model (Sanders, Messier, Jeter come to mind). This guy is it. Of course on any given Sunday……but even if he doesn’t win, he will handle the loss with class and dignity. That’s what a winner does. And Peyton is a winner.

If there is ANY justice in the world left, let’s hope the Football Gods smile favorably on #18 this Sunday. The victory should finally shut up the morons who talk and write about this man’s career…as if he STILL has anything to prove…how he NEEDS this game to firmly establish his “legacy”. What an joke and an insult to any knowledgeable football fan…and especially Peyton Manning himself. Regardless of how this game turns out, this man is the best QB that has ever played. He will have every single passing record (except Mr. Favre’s interceptions) as his own before he’s done. There is nobody in this game that works and studies as hard as Peyton Manning. There is nobody that’s better prepared and more cognizant of everything that’s happening on the field of play than him…nobody. He makes mistakes, as all players will do, but far fewer than anyone. The press didn’t think he even belongs on the same field as Tom Brady two weeks ago…how did that turn out? There isn’t anyone more classy and acts more professionally…on and off the field…than Peyton Manning. Good luck Sunday Peyton…go get it. You are THE MAN.

He got no support from his teammates. The recievers were scared to death to go more than 10 yards down the field. I guess intimidated would be saying it kindly. No question he had nothing to prove. Those who said it would seal his legacy is nonsense. Not even the best QB on the planet can win a Super Bowl on his own.
