I must admit that I was totally oblivious to the fact that the Tour De France wins piled up by Lance were bogus.  I, like everybody else , thought this was nothing short of incredible. As a matter of fact, I had made statements to the fact that he may be the greatest American athelete of my generation, if not all-time.  Shame on me. Makes you wonder what is real and not real anymore. Yes, we know that baseball is loaded with frauds, but what else is tarnished by the performance enahncement methodologies, table tennis?

Hey Jimmy, I too, was oblivious. Thinking maybe this guy can beat Cancer, party with celebrities and ride his bike a few million miles a year, what a life. I think he is a scumbag. Coming out on Oprah 20 minutes after the statutes of limitations expired. Come on. He’s a coward. He lied to the public, he lied to his celebrity friends Sheryl and Matthew, he lied to his family and most of all he lied to himself. He made a ton of money and even more for Phil Knight. Remember if they took away his ‘V’ictories they should remove the ‘v’ from LIVESTRONG and you’re left with LIESTRONG !!!

Be well my friend… great site !!
    Your college buddy,

Dead solid perfect on the assessment! He stepped on everyone in his path. And you know that Knight was in on this as well. He must have rehearsed for months for the Oprah show, and still came across as a filthy liar. He becomes the charter member of the Monaghan Hall of Shame.
